A design for a poster celebrating indigenous pride with inspiration taken from Yalitza Aparicio, of Roma fame. As she is someone who has been in the spotlight and faced heavy criticism for her darker skin and less European-looking features compared to her peers, I felt like she was a good representation of having pride in one's own skin and an appropriate model to not only bring more awareness to this issue, but to also inspire others to embrace their heritage.
